HUBSPOT PRODUCT UPDATE

HubSpot Operations Packages Update

In need of a HubSpot Audit?

The number of tools and features within HubSpot can feel overwhelming, especially if you are on a Professional or Enterprise package.

A HubSpot audit is a way of identifying any gaps in your usage, as well as when you just need a bit of a clean-up. This keeps your HubSpot portal nice and clean, updated and easy to use and navigate.

Maybe it’s time to take a look through your portal, and I mean each and every tool, to identify how well it’s being used, if at all, and whether there are unnecessary items that could be deleted or actions you could take to make your portal usage more effective.

Another 8 HubSpot - Built Data Sync Integrations

HubSpot Package: Starter/Pro/Enterprise
Date:  October 2021

What is it? With the launch of Operations Hub in April, you got access to 25 new HubSpot-built integrations powered by our brand new data sync engine, including Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, and more. As we continue to improve the data sync feature, we'll build even more of the integrations that you — our customers — request most.

With that in mind, we launched eight more top-requested integrations, ranging from CRMs to inventory management apps: Unleashed, Cin7, Current RMS, Fastbill, iContact, Campaigner, Convergehub, and Chargify. With these eight integrations in tow, you can now connect HubSpot with 69 popular apps using via data sync, almost three times as many as were available when Operations Hub launched in April. The integrations can be installed, just like all your other integrations, through the HubSpot App Marketplace.

The new integrations are now available in your HubSpot account, with additional functionality available as part of Operations Hub's premium tiers.

HubSpot-built integration for DocuSign

HubSpot Package: Operations Hub
Date:  April 2021

What is it? The DocuSign integration helps you create, send, and track DocuSign envelopes from a contact, company, or deal record inside of HubSpot.

Why does it matter? With this integration, you have more visibility into where a deal or contact actually is on their customer journey.

This integration connects these two systems and removes the friction caused by needing to leave HubSpot to check a status or take action in DocuSign.

How does it work? Using a CRM card, you can select an envelope template from a contact, company, or deal record in HubSpot. You will be able to make more advanced edits and customisations, in addition to specifying recipients and the email message, through a HubSpot iFrame showing DocuSign's UI. Once an envelope is set, you can send it directly from HubSpot.

More flexible outputs in data quality automation

HubSpot Package: Starter/Pro/Enterprise
Date:  June 2021

What is it? Data quality automation enables you to fix, format, and update HubSpot data automatically using workflows. When it was first launched in April, it supported outputting formatted data in string format, and that data could be saved in text properties only.

How does it work? Create a workflow and add a "Format Data" action. Choose the property you want to format, and apply formatting rules. As a last step, decide what output type the resulting data should be. The options now include string, number, date, and datetime.

Nine New HubSpot-Built Integrations

HubSpot Package: Starter/Pro/Enterprise
Date:  June 2021

What is it? HubSpot aunched nine more top-requested integrations: Clio, Insightly, Campaign Monitor, FreshBooks, Zendesk Sell, Front, Follow Up Boss, ConnectWise Manage, Business Central, Mailerlite, and Phoneburner.

How does it work? The integrations can be installed, just like all your other integrations, through the HubSpot App Marketplace. Check out this dedicated collection to see all the integrations powered by data sync. The new integrations are now available in your HubSpot account, with additional functionality available as part of Operations Hub's premium tiers.

Copy data from workflow actions

HubSpot Package: Pro/Enterprise
Date:  June 2021

What is it? You can access more data from workflows and copy that data to set property values, unlocking more customisation and personalisation.

Why is it important? Previously, you could copy property values between objects, like, for example, between a contact and a deal. Now, you can also copy action data from actions to properties, allowing you to use workflows to power more customised and personalised customer journeys.

You will be able to access more details about the event in workflows using the copy property action, like the unique join link for each attendee. You can grab that URL and use the copy property action to save it in a custom contact property, so that it auto-populates a unique link within the registration confirmation email to each contact.

How does it work? In the Copy Property action, open the "Property or value to copy from" dropdown. In addition to the properties of the enrolled object, you'll now see any other workflow actions that produce data, and the available data from that action, which you can copy. Select the property or action data you care about, and save the action as you usually do.

"Skip if Known" Support on Import

HubSpot Package: Starter/Pro/Enterprise
Date:  May 2021

What is it? A new option in Imports to skip updating a property on a record if HubSpot already has a value for it.

Why is it important? You use the import tool to add CRM data constantly -- HubSpot sees over 15,000 imports a day. In some of those cases, the data being imported may be outdated compared to what's already in HubSpot. For example, imagine your Operations team looking to get an internal system and HubSpot in sync -- some properties may already be known and up-to-date in HubSpot, but others may not.

Rather than needing to painstakingly review the information, or winging it and hoping the overwrites aren't too problematic, here's a new and improved option: skip overwriting if a value already exists.

This change matters because having quality data you can rely on in your CRM is the number one job of a CRM in the first place. Being able to rely on HubSpot as a platform of record means the data there is reliable, and you can create processes to add to it consistently, without fear of overwriting and/or losing the most up-to-date version.

How does it work? During the property mapping step of the import flow, you can check a box labeled "Don't override existing value", and if HubSpot has a value for a property on a particular record, that property value won't be updated by the import. That's it!

HubSpot-built Integration for Google Meet

HubSpot Package: Operations Hub
Date: April 2021

What is it? This HubSpot-built Google Meet integration is now live with the meeting link feature. With this app, you can automatically send meeting link and conference call details to your HubSpot prospects. This allows you to turn every meeting booked in your HubSpot CRM into a Google Meet meeting.

Why does it matter? As a sales or service rep, there's nothing better than a quick chat over video to get a pulse on what your lead or customer needs from you to succeed. Easily schedule a Google Meet meeting from any contact record to get your video chat on the books.

How does it work? You can integrate with HubSpot meetings, configure a video conference link for the Google Meet integration and a Google Meet link will be added directly to your meeting and calendar invitation.
