A lot can happen in a year, and that's no exception for BBD Boom. We’ve been busy helping our amazing clients to grow through the power of inbound marketing and sales enablement, whilst also making major developments internally.
What we’ve been up to
We have been hard at work spreading success to our fantastic client base. One of our proudest moments in the past year was officially becoming a HubSpot Diamond Solutions Partner, exactly 1 year after becoming a Platinum Partner back in 2019. Boom had also enjoyed a staggering 65% increase in sales from May 2019 to May 2020 thanks to the valued relationships we have with our clients and increased focus on B2B tech.
As well as these achievements, we have also launched a brand new website, as well as putting a huge focus on personal development for the team by challenging them to complete a wide variety of HubSpot certifications. Currently we are at 30 different certifications across the team and counting!
We have also been honoured to host several value packed-webinars as a part of our B2B Growth Webinar Series. These included some huge names from the industry, such as Dan Tyre, the Global Sales Leader at HubSpot; Nicholas Holland, the GM/VP of HubSpot’s Marketing Hub; and Paul Millican, the Founder of CAN Videography. We are also proud to have attended Inbound 2019 in Boston, US and the HubSpot Partner Conference in Dublin, and we're looking forward to the whole team attending Inbound 2020 in September - virtually, of course!
In the past year, we have seen the highly anticipated growth of our team in recruiting Sam Gale as Client Success Manager, Nick Anscombe as Client Success Executive, Ryan David as Client Success Manager, and our Inbound Growth Manager Alex Forward. We have also celebrated some internal promotions, Sam Gale to Client Success Director and Tommy Price to Inbound Specialist following the successful completion of his Digital Marketing apprenticeship.
As well as the above, we have also had some new additions to the Boom family. We congratulated our designer Marc Bubb and his wife on the safe arrival of his son Rupert Stephen Bubb, as well as our new office dog Oscar, Emma’s new Poochon puppy.
During the lockdown and the adoption of long-term homeworking, we have loved the weekly virtual team quizzes and other team building activities, but cannot wait to be back together in person for drinks and Sam’s mouth-watering baking.
The past year has gone by super quickly, and as well as eagerly waiting to all meet back up, we are looking forward to growing the team more and further promoting individual growth within. We also aim to become a HubSpot Elite Partner. Our ultimate goal, however, remains the same as always: to help our clients grow their businesses exponentially.
