If 2025 proved anything, it’s that HubSpot is evolving at a pace we've never seen before. With new AI capabilities landing almost weekly and businesses racing to unify their data, automate smarter, and deliver standout customer experiences, the platform is setting the stage for a transformative 2026.

But what does that really mean for the teams using HubSpot day to day? To find out, we turned to the people who work in the platform the most—our consultants, strategists, and RevOps specialists here at BBD Boom. They’re the ones inside real client portals, solving real growth challenges, and spotting the patterns before anyone else.

We asked them to share their boldest predictions, the trends they believe will shape the next 12 months, and where they see the biggest opportunities for HubSpot users in 2026.

Here’s what they think is coming.

Katie T-3Katie Townsend, Senior HubSpot Consultant.

I think 2026 is going to be a breakthrough year for Service Hub. It’s been quietly improving behind the scenes for a while, but we’re reaching a point where customer service teams want everything - tickets, conversations, knowledge base, customer health, automation - all in one place without juggling a stack of different tools. I can see HubSpot doubling down on AI-powered support workflows, smarter SLA and escalation management, and much more intuitive reporting so teams can actually prove their impact. With AI assistants helping reps draft replies, summarise tickets, and spot churn risks early, Service Hub could finally start competing head-to-head with the likes of Zendesk and Intercom. In 2026, I think we’re going to see businesses treat HubSpot not just as a marketing and sales platform, but as a true end-to-end customer experience hub.

As we know, HubSpot has really ramped up its AI software over the course of 2025, particularly Breeze, and I think they will continue to focus on this.
The two main things I think there will be a big focus on are:
  • CPQ - I think they will continue to grow and improve the function, to put it as a good rival for Salesforce quoting software and tools like PandaDoc.
  • Hyper-personalisation and predictive analytics will also be a big focus. HubSpot will use AI and your CRM data to tailor the experience for each user in real time in more depth - so things feel more relevant and less one-size-fits-all. On top of that, you’ll get smarter predictive insights for stuff like lead scoring, deal forecasting, and spotting churn risks early, so you can get ahead of problems and engage customers more proactively.

Looking ahead to 2026, I hope HubSpot will evolve from an AI-assisted CRM into an AI-orchestrated growth platform. AI will move beyond copilots and content generation to actively designing, recommending, and executing go-to-market actions across marketing, sales, and service. This includes autonomous deal progression suggestions, AI-driven lead and account prioritisation based on real-time buying signals, dynamic pricing and quoting recommendations, and workflow agents that act on behalf of teams with human approval loops. Data unification and context—across CRM records, conversations, documents, and third-party systems—will be central, enabling HubSpot’s AI (such as Breeze and agent-based features) to reason over the full customer journey. By 2026, competitive advantage in HubSpot portals will come less from manual configuration and more from how effectively organisations train, govern, and integrate AI agents into their RevOps operating model.

In 2026, I think we’ll see people move from ‘testing’ HubSpot agents to truly running them. As teams start embedding agents into real workflows, they’ll unlock huge value, from time saved on repetitive tasks to more consistent customer experiences across the whole journey.

Right now, it feels like we’ve only just been introduced to AI, especially within your CRM. For the most part, we still have to prompt it, tell it when to run, and keep a close eye on it… because it can get things wrong. In 2026, I think that all starts to fade into the background. We’ll start to see what a truly smart CRM looks like, with AI seamlessly becoming part of how we work day to day, and far less manual checking, approving, or pushing things through pipelines. HubSpot will quietly keep the CRM up to date for you - logging activity properly, updating records, pushing data across platforms and nudging users through the buyer's journey based on what’s actually happening across marketing, sales and service. It won’t be AI “taking over”, but it will feel much more natural and joined-up than it does now. From a RevOps point of view, that’s huge! Fewer gaps in data, less admin for teams, and a CRM you can actually trust. I can really see HubSpot leading the way in this.

Following the volume of CRM interface changes HubSpot introduced in 2025, I wanted to share a few thoughts on what I’d personally like to see from the platform in 2026. While many of the updates have modernised the CRM visually, I feel some have also introduced friction — particularly where tools have been renamed, repositioned, or made harder to find. Looking ahead to 2026, I’d like to see HubSpot take time to reflect on these changes and focus on refining the core CRM experience, not just adding new features. Improvements around navigation clarity, terminology consistency, and overall usability of the existing system would go a long way. For me, the next phase of HubSpot’s evolution should be about balancing innovation with practicality, ensuring the CRM becomes more intuitive and efficient for everyday users, rather than more complex.

As we head into 2026, one thing is clear: HubSpot is evolving faster than ever — and the businesses that stay curious, experiment early, and embrace new capabilities like AI agents, data unification, and smarter automation will be the ones that win. Whether you’re refining your RevOps strategy, scaling your marketing, or rethinking how your teams work, now is the time to prepare for what’s coming. Because if 2025 was transformative, 2026 is going to be game-changing.
